I was called by their representative and offered an express platinum card with a credit limit of $5,500.00 USD with the ability to shop and use the credit card as any regular credit card and be able to access cash advances with a charge but I had to pay $99.00 to activate it and be billed $19.00 monthly to service my account.

I was to expect delivery of my card at my residence address with 5 to 7 business days of activation of it, and the activation fee was to be electronically withdrawn from my chequing account.

The activation therefore took place on Nov. 21, 2011 and on Thursday, Dec. 01, 2011 I received an E-mail notification advisory that I should proceed to www.expressplatinumcard.com to activate my card while I awaited delivery of my card in a welcoming package that detailed all the benefits and use of my card.

I quite unassumingly did not bother to activate the card which they had gone ahead and provided its number to me with which to activate it as `2/01/2011 which is:2143-9729-1275-4924. I thought I would in good faith and belief wait till the next day following notification from them to go ahead and activate and prepare to use the card upon my receipt of it.

So on Friday, Dec. 02, 2011 at about approximately 3: 30 p.m. EDT after checking my mail for the day and not receiving the card in the day's mail, said to myself, never mind it very well be in Sat. Dec. 03, 2011's mail, but go ahead and get it activated in the interim as their E-mail notification advisory directed.

So I attempted to log on to the web-site that they provided and directed that I visit to activate my card, only to encouter difficulty being able to log on to that web-site. After a few frantic trials I eventually came to a page that listed that name, but without hesitation added SCAM to their address along with such clear remarks as, Scambook, Scam Reports, Complaints and Report a Scam. Out of shock and utter disbelief, I attemped to call 888-382-7196 as their customer service number which no one answered but a recorded message saying to leave a name and telephone number for someone to return the call, thereby confirming the posted message against their name that indeed their Scamers who are stealing blatantly from unsuspecting innocent victims like me. I am therefore glad that there is an immediate redress to this matter to which I want to add my complaint and grievance to an apparent Class Action Lawsuit that is already underway againt these nefarious Scamers who descecrate the good name and people of this great nation of ours, the United States Of America. There ought not be a place or safe haven for heathens as these people in our otherwise gentle, honest and caring society of decent people like us. These False Advertisers, Scam Artists and Bold Face Thieves need to be quickly apprehended and brought to justice and rid from our just society. Please keep me informed on your actions taken against them and do feel free to contact me by any medium necessary. I thank and commend you for providing this forum for us to reach out squeeze out these evil people.
