I seen an advert working from home and claiming I could earn loads of cash. I rang just out of interest. The man was very nice and friendly and before i knew it I was giving him my cc number. This is so not me. He explained what you had to do. set up a website sell goods it sounded complicated and as I am disabled thought it be too much to take on. I hung up but I was bombarded with phonecalls, cold calls as well. I didnt notice the pounds and pence going out of my account. i check my statements reguarly on-line. Then today they took £20. Couldnt believe what I was seeing I googled the name on my cc account and a website popped up about scams it was like a slap in the face. however what i dont understand is prior to today the transaction just said overseas so why didnt the bank phone me. unbelievable ive had my card rejected while on hol abroad so how was this allowed, the bank asked for paperwork ive got nothing of the sort. Dont know to do. put it down to experience??????
