I contacted legacy holding group after my father-in-law told me about their ad on tv. They sounded completely legitimate after talking to them on the phone for a good hour. They told me I would have to pay $3400.00 to cover their cost for auditing my loan and negotiating with my lender to get my interest rate down to 2-4%. So my wife and I agreed to pay the money. Afterwards they stayed in contact with us but not as frequent. They told us it was a 3-6 month waiting period. We actually got a letter from our lender notifying us of the loan modification, so we thought all was good. We were told we had to go through a trial period first for 3 months to ensure we could make our payments. It has been over 3 months and now we cannot get in touch with legacy.
