A young charismatic woman came to my door claiming she was a student at NIU and was selling magazine subscriptions for a number of different charities,one of which was Andreas closet who helps battered women. she told me I could send Andreas closet a subscription for $40 then an extra $15 for processing.She informed me that I would receive a $20 gift card for my donation. I fell for it and gave her the $55. She placed a sticker on my door so that "no one else would bother me". After she left I felt a little foolish so I looked MTC Circulation up online.I typed in my verification code and it said it wasn't valid. I assumed it was legit and that it was just too soon to verify. I waited a couple of days and tried it again with the same results.I put the receipt in my purse & forgot about,kind of hoping that my gift card would show up & surprise me. I was cleaning out my purse today & came across the receipt so i thought i would try looking it up again. I typed in MTC Circulation & I saw the scambook reports of my same exact situation.One woman said her gift card box wasn't checked even though she had requested it so i looked at mine & it wasn't checked either! Even though i did request it! The sales agents name is Nundie
