My husband came across this penny bid website and saw how inexpensive things were to bid on. I signed up as I did when I signed up on Ebay. I knew I had to have my credit card info so if and when I won anything I wouldn't have to do all of that. I did so. This morning I fine a $99 charge on my bank account. I called. They said there was nothing that could be done to refund my money. They didn't care that I am a senior citizen or that my $550 per month income had been compromised or that I would have to go without most of our food for this month. Our social security does not hit until July. I would have never done this had I any indication this was to happen. The customer service req was in a "I could care less" attitude and said I should have read the entire website before I began to bid. All I asked for was my money, or most of it, returned in exchange for never going there again. She denied that in saying it was company policy not to refund. I am destroyed for this month.
