I ordered the Auravie skin care system on a TRIAL basis. The agreement was that I would only be charged shipping and handling fees. In return, I was to have 10 days to try the products without additional charges. This is NOT what happened.
I did not receive the skin care system until 11/22/11. I experienced difficulty using me debit card the evening of 11/22/11 because the company placed an unauthorized hold on the funds in my account. On 11/23/11, I straightened out the issue with my financial institution. Unfortunately, when the posting for 11/23/11 was completed; my account was charged $97.88 plus a $23.00 courtesy pay fee for being overdrawn. Of course, by the time everything posts, it is Thanksgiving and my credit union is closed. I have to wait till next week to dispute the charges.
I spoke to a customer care representative and ended up arguing with him because I did not get a free trial period before being charged. I hung up because he made mad due to his attitude. I marked my unopened package "return to sender, refused". I am expecting this company to issue me a full refund.
