I was trying to buy Sony HVR-HD1000U Digital High Definition HDV Camcorder from their website. The price was USD 899.00. Since they said that they only accept Western Union or wire transfer, I Paid off through wire transfer. After i did transferring it, I received the email from Amy Cathy <[email protected]>. Her/his email said that;

And then I sent the payment detail. But she/he said that,

We check our Bank account but we still recived your money
What's going no?
Now it's November 22 2011 02:30 in china After 10 hours we will check it again
By the way Are you sure finish your payment by bank transfer?"


And then I emailed her/him that, " ? 2011?11?23? ??7:58?
Hey Amy Cathy,

Why have you been quiet after getting my money? Are you a real person or just a scam? Well I have been waiting to hear from you for more than a day after my money was successfully wire transferred. Now I may wait you 12 hours more to hear from you. Then I will start filing the scam report if I do not hear anything from you back. Now its 6:57pm in Atlanta, GA USA. 11/22/2011.

After a while, I received her/his email,

From: Amy Cathy <[email protected]>
To: My information
Sent: Wednesday, November 23, 2011 8:35 AM

Subject: Re: Order Confirmati?on No: 2011111721?255410

Today we are informed by China Customs that we need pay $449 more duty for exporting goods.
If you do not want to pay the duty, please buy one more other goods. Then we will take care of the duty and send your 2 goods.


Since I was so much confused, I had questions repeatedly that

I was waiting to hear from you. Here is some questions though!!!!!!!!!!! Why do you need to pay $449 more duty for exporting goods? Why should I buy another good? Why didn't you mention about that earlier or on the website? If that is the right policy, you never know about it as a customer support? Why this kind of lake acknowledgement is happening within your company? ...... You haven't even shipped just one little single item yet, but then you asked me to buy another good again! How can I trust you? ...... Even if its the right policy for China, then how much worth good should be purchased again? Why that policy came out after the promised deal had been done? Are you guys are the real persons?

It is my understanding that you have already read the document of China Customs, which specifically requests you to pay $449.
Your package was seized by China Customs.
The Chinese Customs told us.for free the packages.we only have two weeks.after that they will confiscate the pacakes.that we will all lose.our items and your payment
Please pay as soon as possible.then we can send your package.help you can understand.


It does not make sense at all to pay the extra US D 449.

Therefor can anyone advice me or help me out to get my money back because it was a lot. I worked hard so bad to save that money.
