In April we received a mailing which said Webster Bank was associated with this company that could help us modify our morgage payment because we qualified. We had to submit three payments totalling 3000. dollars and then they would negotiate with our lender to reduce the interest level to 2% or 3%. We submitted all our personal details and my pay stubs but no one ever got back. I waited to connect to a live person for 70 minutes. Then I realized that it was a scam and we lost the money we so desperately needed to pay the mortgage. Can these people be brought to justice. Will I see my money? Please help.
