I was contacted by Bob Evans from Cornerstne State Financial who informed me that I had been approved for a loan of 10,000.He stated that becaause fo my credit score I would have to pay the first 6 months up front in order to secure the loan which was 6 payments 0f 312.76 (1583.60). I told him I didn't have 1500, so he asked if I could send at least 900 and he would apply for a hardship which would allow them to tack the 683.80 to loan. So I wired the 900 to a Adrian Moneyroe Cruz in Spain. Yea Moneyroe stuck out and my wife asked why Spain. So like the others I checked all websites no complaints so I proceeded with the transaction assured that I would receive my funds the next morning. Well once they received the funds I was called back by a Mr. Harris who stated that there was a problem and the insurance company would not accept my hardship and that in order to secure the loan I needed to send 683.80 so I pondered and talked it over with my wife we borrowed the money and sent it. Was called back by Mr. Harris and said that the finds would be in the account the by 5pm worst case scenario the next day. Well to say the least it didn't happen. Monday comes and Mr. Harris calls again saying he needed another 6 moths worth of payments. I told him that if I had 3000 on hand why borrow. I then called Bob and he told me my account had been blocked and that all future questions or problems shoud be directed to Mr. harris. I then proceeded to tell them that I wanted my money back and I wanted it back the same way I gave it to them and Mr. Harris told me that I would have to wait until the next billling cycle which is Nov. 25 well called them last week and he assured me that on the 25th my funds would be in my account. Tried calling again on yesterday and the number is no good. So I guess it is safe to say that we have been SCAMMED!!! I'm hoping to get my funds back but if not yea it really caused a hardship but with God we will prevail and this too shall pass. I just pray that these scammers get caught and prosecuted to the fullest for preying on innocent people with no so perfect credit.

  • Hi Mike,
your situation is EXACTLY like what happened to me, except for the money amount. I have been given the run around for almost one month. And I was told the billing cycle was 11/22, so when I called yesterday and complained, I spoke to Bob Evans, who said he would forward my information to the accounting dept. I told him that I wanted to personally speak to someone in the accounting department, but of course, he was not able/willing to give me anyone to speak with there. This setback has been extremely devastating for me and my family, that I don't even know what to do. I would love to think that I will get my money back, but I highly doubt it. The funny thing is that Bob Evans told me i could call him back yesterday afternoon, which I did.. two hours after our initial call about the refund.. and, surprise, surprise: the phone number has been disconnected and the website has been taken down.
