On the above date my cousin received a call from Life 1 Medical Alert rep. Brandon telling him he needed there services since he lived alone, if he falls or has any other accidents. I feel my cousin was coherced into giving out his credit card number by Brandon and then my cousin states Brandon told him not to tell me about it since I was his POA. My cousin has dementia and alzhemier. He told me about it and soon as he got off the phone, since I help my cousin with his business affairs. So I call to cancel the services ordered and tried to explain he did not need Life 1 Medical Alert at this time. That's when the trouble started, I spoke to Brandon again and then I asked for a supervisor, and Cecelia stated she would do this for me and she hung the phone up in my face, she was very rude and unperfessional. I called the company the next day and I spoke with Jim@11:35am and ask for a cancellation number and was told they don't give out numbers for cancellation, through all this Life 1 Medical Alert continued to call and harass my cousin insisting he did order the services and he knew what he was doing.I continued to call the company until I finally reached someone who said they could help me with problem she was Pamela she was very nice, spoke well and professional.

  • Carl Zeigler ordered a medical alert unit on 11/3/11 and he paid $349.50 for the year. An hour after placing the order, the transaction was voided. No equipment ever shipped and Mr. Zeigler's account was refunded fully. We would never urge any of our customers to not contact their family members or their POA regarding their purchase. We pride ourselves in protecting senior citizens and potentially saving their lives with our product. We are a courteous company and customer satisfaction is our priority. I can only apologize for any inconvenience Ms. Hudson experienced. We were in the process of moving our office during this time and we were experiencing issues with our phones.
