On Oct. 27,2011 I ordered a range hood vent cover from Home Everything for a total price of $257.00. I had checked some reviews before ordering from this company. On Oct 31,2011, Home Everything charged my credit card for the order and sent a confirmation email. On Nov 09, 2011, Home Everything refunded the $257.00 to my credit card without notifying me and on Nov 10, 2011, recharged my account for the $257.00 again without notifying me.

On Nov 16, 2011 I received an email which they dated as Oct 27, 2011, stating they could not fulfill the order and were issuing the refund. "BUT" they also stated there was a rebilling charge for the $257 from HomeEverything.com and they were in dispute with this company (which is their own company) and I was advised to contact my bank and dispute the charge for a refund.

I called Home Everything and spoke with Nick who told me the item I had purchased was damaged and they could not replace it so they initiated the refund but that HomeEverything.com has recharged my account and they could not credit my account again as HomeEverything.com would just recharge my account. He refused my request to issue another credit.

I contacted my bank and initiated an investigation for a fraudulent charge to my credit card and I am still waiting for the paperwork. I did further checking and ran across a website called Reseller Ratings and found hundreds of customers who have had the same or a similiar experience with Home Everything; secondary fraudulent charges after having the initial purchase refunded for whatever reason they have given the customer(s). This company has a scam going and probably keeping the interest received from holding onto customers money for what looks like up to 90 days in a couple of cases. It makes me wonder what they are doing with the credit card information they have received.

I googled the showroom address and it comes back to a vacant lot and the business address looks like its in the middle of a field. Please read some of the reviews posted on (Link Removed).

I have been unable to add the proof of loss as the 3 reports with less than 8mb will not upload
