I posted my resume on Craigslist. This company called me & set up an interview for an Office Manager position paying $4000 per month. Then they called me a 2nd time from a different location which was weird. They asked for a $75 background check fee and I would have wasted my gas and time going there for a SALES job. Luckily I researched it.....DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THESE IDIOTS
THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY! ( i didn't pay them thankfully)

  • Wow! That is so sad that you do not have the common sense to find out what this company is really about. But that's okay, because the company is looking for STRONG individuals who are career minded and want the opportunity for growth within a company. Apparently you don't have the strength to commit yourself to a promising future. Well I hope your future will be just as bountiful as mine will, and I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors.

  • Nice try Kristi.....the complaint is about this company's false advertising for a management positions when it should be advertising SALES of Fire Extinguishers...I do have common sense enough to know a hustle when I hear it......If YOU want to sell fire extinguishers and think you will make $4000 per month as they claim have at it. To charge $75 fee for a supposed background check is NOT what a legitimate company does.
    WARNING: This Company is not honest and is not looking for an Office Manager, Period!!! It's wasting peoples time and money.
    p.s. Kristi (the plant for this company) nice way to start out with an insult and finish with a wish. I do not WISH to commit myself to a future selling fire hydrants thank you very much. I am a professional with years of experience and have already found a job at a reputable company. You are the one who needs luck! I can buy a fire extinguisher at Home Depot for $19.99 and so can everyone else.

  • I appreciate this as I just got the call, for an office management position, and have an interview tomorrow. I was told about the $75.00 background check fee and immediately started researching. There are many very high rated services for individuals and businesses that charge only $15. to $20. and some that have a monthly fee for unlimited checks for about that same price. The $75.00 charge is outrageous!
    I cannot even find the company in the Riv. area, the one I do find is not hiring. I usually try to educate myself on the company and their services before an interview, but I cannot find any legit website for that.
    I am calling tomorrow to ask a few more questions. I know I would need to learn the "ropes" in a new position before becoming a manager, but there is a big difference between an office and door to door job, which I am not able to do! With gas prices as high as they are, I may have been saved an unnecessary trip! Thank you so very much for the head's up!

  • Janeane you are 100% right!!! I almost got scammed thank you for your post. Kristina should wake up and realize what she is doing to people who are looking to find real careers. U.S. SAFETY IS A SCAM!! 100% nothing they say is correct. They claim they are opening all kinds of locations...that would be great if they had proof, which they don't. They have one office at 24881 railroad ave #203 santa clarita and another at 16461 sherman way #170 A Van Nuys CA they claim they save lives and that people don't know what their company is about. Well they should post we are looking for people to pay for our equipment and go door to door selling fire safety supplies, which are difficult to sell. They are FALSELY ADVERTISING the office manager job SCAM ALERT!!!

  • I can tell you all these complaints are legitimate. Tony York and Lisa Bournazos have been running this type of scam for years. I got suckered into it when I was 19 years old (back in 1996). From people's complaints I see it hasn't changed much. A $60 "registration/background check" fee, a $95 "kit" fee just to get started. Then they tell you in order to advance you have to sell $2000 worth of product. After you sell that in order to advance further you have to sell another $3500 worth of product. I actually became an office manager and I can tell you this is 100% a pyramid scheme. And as far as the $4k a month in the ad?...this job is 100% commission based, even as a manager. As a manager you get paid a percentage of the $60 fee, the $95 fee, and sales that your "management trainees" make. The more people you hire (who pay the $60 and $95 fee) the more money you make; if that's not MLM/pyramid, I don't know what is.

  • John, good for you! These people also have an office in Ventura. I had received calls from 2 different locations wanting me to come for interviews. Had I wasted my time it would have cost me gas money and all the nervousness of heading to an interview for nothing. Feel sorry for the desperate people who fall prey to them.
