At 3:16 pm, Monday November 21 I received a phone call from SurveyCruise.com. It began with loud horns and soft bird noises followed by an automated voice "Attention, this is your captain speaking..." I was told that if I answer the questions to a short ten question survey I would receive 2 free boarding passes to an all-inclusive cruise to the Bahamas. That too was a recorded message as I was told to "Press 2 if you are a female." Following the survey a representative picked up the phone and she was not quite pleasant at all. Asked me for my basic information; cell phone number, first and last name and zip code. I gave her all that she asked and took the time to spell everything out only to get hung up on. I could tell she was not in a room by herself as I heard lots of voices in the background. Almost like a call center. After that the "captain" came back on with instructions on where to go (surveycruise.com) and to use both my phone number and zip code to login. After completing that step they take you on to another screen were you are to verify that your information is correct. Low and behold that even after I took all of that time to spell everything out, she still misspelled my name. After correcting the changes I clicked the button that said "I agree, complete my confirmation" and it sent me to an error page. I then tried submitting a second and third time to insure that it wasn't just a faulty submission but after I was continuously sent to that same page I knew something wasn't right. I typed in surveycruise.com in the search engine of Google and before I even finished spelling it out, auto fill had suggested surveycruise.com scam. I clicked on the link, read a few stories, and the rest is history.
