my husband went on creigslist to sell my digital camera and recieved an email from a "person" named Tom Ruben saying he wanted to buy the camera from us for his son, we were selling it for 700.00 and he offered us 900.00 to send it to nigeria to his son if i knew then what i know i would have never done this, he said he would send the money to paypal well never recived the money but was getting emails from what i thought was paypal but it's not, then i get an email saying that he double paid and they would not release the money into the paypal account untill i sent the extra 900 well we never did that, he wanted it sent western union well i knew better then that so i called pay pal and finally got ahold of them and they said there was never any funds or anything, so then i emailed him back saying i wanted him to send the camera back well he sent back some sob story saying he wanted to send it back but didn't have the money and wanted me to western union him money to send the camera back well i didn't send that eaither. so now i don't know what to do i am out 900.00 and the camera.

- I have had many people try to do this for dogs I was selling and coin collections I was selling. I have a frined workingin the FBI and unless the scan was for more than 1 million dollars they will not pursue. NEVER take a call from a deaf relay station on a Craigs list or other advertisement ... if you do want to take the call, tell the operator that you want the IP address before you will take the call.... the operator is required ot give you the IP address. If it is a scam, they will hang up as soon as you ask for the IP address. If it is not, you have the IP address. Look it up before you do any business. If the IP address is a public location ... stop its a scam.... if it is a physical addres sin teh United States ... write them, then do business.

- I mentioned the deaf realy becuas ethat is another scan people are using besides this email scam....As for the email trouble .... NEVER send product until you have full payment and the funds are cleared. - Sorry for your troubles.

- I have been scammed on home business online. Once they take your they give you an email that you can't really talk to anyone. If they do answer you back, they send you to another website so you can spend more money. It's crazy, then you get so many emails from all different kind of businesses that you don't know whether you are coming or going. Does anyone know of any company that hires people to assemble products at home without any fees? I must work first then pay out if necessary.
