I was on my computer and all of a sudden I get this Red alert on my screen that someone is trying to hack my personal information. There was a number to call. I assumed it was from Microsoft, so I dialed the number. They told me someone was hacking my IP Address and they scrolled through my personal info, passwords, etc. They told me someone was hacking into my banking. They convinced me into purchasing their protection. I was told that this was a one time purchase of $799. I happened to see the auto renewal, so I asked, and they told me no, it was a one time for life even when it stated there was an auto renewal. I asked if this was a scam, & they said no. I felt I was pushed into having them install this. My computer was frozen, I couldn't even shut it down. Panic set in. I think they terrify people to get them to purchase their product. I thought the price was outrageous.
