She sent my dad a letter saying he had money from someone in spain and that the man and his family was killed in a car accident. In this letter she had said that the man that was supposedly kin to my dad she had stated the man's name was Mr. Desmond Wood tried to claim that he was kin to him because they have the same last name but he is not kin to that man. She had stated that the man had no other family members to come forth in the last 6 years she had said that her and another women had done some research and tracked down my dad and the only known relative of the man that was living she said my dad inherited 26.7 million from the deceased man. She had claimed she was from a bank that had been holding this money, she had asked for my dad to email her at [email protected] or to call her at 01134-612-291-589 or to fax her at 01134911881377 and had asked him to give her some info. She said that when she had gotten the info she needed he would get 40% of it and 50% would be given to her and the other 10% would be donated to charity. This is just the highlights of the letter but I find it really sad that someone would send a letter like this to try to scam an elderly man out of his money.
