My wife and I booked an "all-inclusive" trip to Mexico and paid Expedia the posted rate for double-occupancy. When we arrived we discovered that we were sharing a room with others. I paid the hotel an extra $1000 so we could have our own room (which I already paid Expedia for), and assumed the error would be easy to fix when we returned home. NOPE! Expedia refused to accept any responsibility and is uncooperative. After doing some research it seems that their MO is to take customer's money, accept no responsibility, then ignore the customer until they give up. I can't understand how they stay in business???
