hurricane Irma hit and damage my home on this date. After fighting with my insurance company they sent me a check in the amount of 9328.03, I signed it and sent to midland. this check was for 10584.00 swelling /structure and 3284.03 for other structure total loss 13868.03. less deductible 4540.00. I have sent them a estimate from a roofer in the amount of 9327.85 mind you the other structure was a fence and a shed that was not here at the time I purchase this home. Now they're giving me a hard time about signing the check and sending it back to me so I can do the repairs I told them the fence and shed I will take care of out of pocket and shouldn't have anything to do with the structure of the house. when I last spoke to a rep I was told they had all that was needed at the time. A week later here we are and still my home needs repair, no roofer will make repairs for less.
