In January of 2011 I received a letter in the mail telling me that I had won a $2oo.oo gas card. I called the number and spoke with a operator. They told me that if I sent them $3.00 I would receive the card. They also told me that I had 1 week to cancel if I didn't want a membership But that a would still get the gas card. I told them that I didn't want a membership. Than this summer I started receiving magazines in the mail at my post office box. I didn't know who was sending them because I never ordered any. I gave them to the postmaster and asked them to send them back which is what they did. After a couple of months they quit sending them. I thought this was the end of it. I hadn't heard anything from anyone until I received a call asking about the magazines. I informed them that I never ordered any magazines That I wasn't interested that I had sent all the magazines back and not to send anymore. I also told them that I never signed up for a membership and that they needed to quit bothering me. Again I thought that the problem had been solved. On November 8,2011 I received a letter from Central Rewards collection telling me that I owe them $1677.90 But if I send them a settlement amount of $503.37 that they will drop it. I called the number and told them there was a mistake and they needed to fix it. I informed them that I had sent all the magazines back. The lady told me that they never received them and that I still owed the money. I told her that I never signed up for magazines or a membership. I also told her that I cancelled the membership when I was supposed to, that I wasn't paying them anything. That it wasn't my fault that their operators aren't doing their job right. She told me that I would have to look In my phone records to prove that I cancelled. At this point I got mad told them that i was calling the better business and turning them in. I went on their web site and found out that I am not the only one that they have done this to.
