Star Estate & Lettings is a fraud business. The staff are all corrupt and the property they supply you is not fit for human habitation.
I noticed after a few months that our house was showing signs of damp and what this agent did was paint over it before we moved in.
This is very dishonest as my children got very ill and when I checked with Sylvia Wood, she denied it completely and said the damp had only just appeared.
I checked with a local builder and he confirmed that he had seen this before and advised them to deal with it but the Star Estate & Lettings rep, Sylvia Wood did not want to pay for it so they have been doing this, renting out substandard property as middle income housing. I also found out that for a bribe, if you give them your house to rent, they will cover up these problems.
Avoid this agency and Sylvia Wood at all cost.
I had to eventually fork out money from my own pocket to deal with this.
This is a fraud agent. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
