Just to review our conversation on June 7th, I am disputing this collection notice that appeared on my credit report 5/23/2017 by Midwest Recovery Systems on behalf of O'Brien Wexler & Associates. Here are some facts:

1. I have requested my former bank, Vantage Credit Union to send me a copy of all my transaction statements from Jan 1, 2010 to when it was closed, which I believe was in Sept or Oct of 2010.

2. During the time of dealing with CashNet, I made numerous attempts to email and call to dispute the charges from my bank account.
I never got any response from them and that's when I closed the account.

3. I moved to Florida in January of 2011 and my address was XXX Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral, FL. I lived there from Jan 10, 2011 to November 30th, 2012 yet I never received any letters, emails or calls from CashNet, and I believed the matter was over.

4. Now, you mentioned there was activity in 2011 and 2012, but I heard nothing about this. You say that O'Brien Wexler & Associates took over CashNet, and my credit report shows a collection of $990.00 filed on May 23rd, 2017, 6 years later without any contact or notifications that there was a problem.

5. During our phone conversation, we requested documented validation of transactions from O'Brien Wexler and disputed the collection notice. You said this would take 30-45 days to process. I think it is only fair for O'Brien Wexler withdraw the collection with the credit bureaus until full documented validation is provided and we can also review our bank account statements. Because of this action, my credit rating has decreased.

5. I also looked up O'Brien Wexler & Associates and found they are not accredited with the BBB. See link:

It appears that both CashNet and O'Brien Wexler have been involved in scamming consumers and now have Midwest Recovery systems involved in a collection. I was originally scammed by CashNet and now O'Brien Wexler through Midwest Recovery sytems, is trying to collect this money. Again, I insist this collection be removed from my credit report or I will email a copy of this email to the BBB.
