I had been trying to book a certain hotel for a trip to Oklahoma. I thought that I had it booked through the hotel but I didn't. On the way there I realized that the confirmation e mail they sent was for a different hotel in Oklahoma. I tried to call the hotel to cancel but they couldn't and told me to call a number that had no idea what I was talking about. I finally realized that I needed to call reservationdesk.com. I was on a "brief 2 minute hold" as they said, forever. They told me that they couldn't switch my reservations to the hotel that I thought I had booked and that they couldn't cancel it because it was too late and I couldn't get my money back. We drove to the actual hotel that the wrong reservations were at and they told us if we canceled by 4 that it wouldn't be a problem. I called back again on hold forever and was told that they could not cancel until i made other reservations through them and then I still wouldn't be able to get my money back. Well, the only money I had for a hotel was the money they took from me. We ended up driving to the hotel I thought my reservations were for and it was closed down.
I was not told that it was closed down. I was just put into a different hotel. All I wanted was to transfer to the hotel I wanted or maybe be told that it was closed in the first place. The people were also very rude and not sympatic or helpful at all. I believe that I should get my money back. My vacation was ruined. I will never use this company again and I hope the word gets around about it.
