I took a survey for a purchase made with Amazon. I was offered a free gift for completing the survey, I was required to pay the shipping and handling charge of $5.99. I entered my credit card number for the s&h, 14 days later I was charged 98.00 which they claim is the full price of the gift. I called the company and was told that because I did not cancel the membership within the 14 days, I am stuck with the charge. They said they will cancel my membership from this point. This is a scam, it was not revealed that I was signing up for membership.
