On a pop up in early January, I ordered a watch for the cost of shipping and handling, about $6. I did not note that there were any conditions. While out of state with an ailing father, I was reviewing my bank statement, I noted a $98 charge in January and in February to some company called Tibi Skin Care. I contacted my bank and disputed the charges, as I had never heard of this company. Upon returning to my home I find another watch in my mailbox. I contacted the number on the shipment and I learned that I was paying $98 for a watch worth $20 at best. And that I had "enrolled" in A monthly subscription to receive monthly watches at $98 each. After long session of arguing, the person in customer service said that they could do nothing because I had contested the charge with my bank. I asked if I contacted my bank and told them to stop the contesting would they refund me and they said no. I suppose the moral here is to ALWAYS try to find the small print, which isn't always easy, and never accept offers for things that seem to be really inexpensive.
