I received a phone call stating I received a grant from the US Gov't for $3200.00. I was told they would deposit the money directing onto my bank card or I could pay $3.85 for a paper check to be mailed to me. I fell for the scam and gave the woman my credit card number to charge $3.85. Luckily, the card was declined. I did report my card as lost to avoid any future charges. A complaint was also filed with the FTC.
