I made many contributions during the year leading up to the presidential elections using Act Blue. First I was donating to the Sanders campaign and then for Hillary. I never clicked on the boxes to make my individual contributions "Monthly." Nevertheless, it turns out that Act Blue had been charging my two credit cards on a monthly basis. I was too careless in checking my bank accounts to know that was going on until near the end. The thing of it is that I would get Thank You notices from AB for my donations, but they didn't point out that they were taking out monthly amounts. I didn't authorize them to. But they did. Rip me off Big time.
