Received 2 watches and 2 pair of sunglasses and was charged unknowingly,until I checked my bank charge card account in January and found a total of $399.86 was charged.The charges started on November 23rd and was advertised via Amazon as free Watches and Sunglasses for shipping and handling charges only for the Watches $5.99 and Sunglasses $5.95.Additional charges were billed in December when items were received and they were $89.99 and $98.00.
Unsollisited, additional similar items(1watch & 1pair of sunglasses) were shipped in January for the same amount(additional $89.99 & $98.00).Since I used a bank credit card attached to my checking account I only realized this scam +6 or 7 weeks after it started,when,I checked my monthly bank statement. I contacted the phone number that I got from my bank and they(the call center for Allegro Luxury), would not refund charges for any items returned. But would refund as a credit to my card 50% of the charges.They advised that their products are from Allegro Luxury and I signed an agreement for additional products to be shipped monthly which they would cancel as I requested.I checked the Amazon/Allegro Luxury web-site and did not find any watches or sunglasses similiar to the Japanesse and Chinese made watches and sunglasses sent to us.My bank advised that I secure new credit cards as my current ones have been compromised.
