International boundaries
Received letter from RS Consulting Group asking for participation in paid survey. Asked to make a western union transaction of $1,500 , $150 western union fee, make purchase at Best Buy/Kmart/ or Walmart of $200 and $300 participation wage= $2,150 (amount of check enclosed with letter for transactions). Envelope addressed Canada, letter addressed Phoenix, Arizona. Lorin Lerner Boswell is the name on the check. Seems strange and a little suspicious. Couldn't find RS Consulting Group in Arizona on the internet. Lorin Lerner Boswell does exist and live in Arizona.

- Hi Rainya, the same thing happened to me I received a letter from an RS Consulting group for $1,650.00 dollars asking me to do the exact same thing send money through western union and make purchases at WalMart, Kmart, or Best Buy.... Judith Anderson was in the name of the check I searched the bank which was a Pinellas Federal Credit Union and found it to be a legit bank. I called the bank and spoke to a representative which advised me that it was a scam that account was flagged for fraud and they were aware of the situation. Be very cautious if its too good to be true it usually is a scam!!

Hello,
Unfortunately I have fallen victim to this scam. On November 16th I received the letter in the mail about doing the surveys for Western Union and either K-Mart, Walmart, or Best Buy. I called the phone numbers on the letter that came with the check for $1,550.00 and I talked to a person each time I called about the survey.
I did the Western Union transaction for $900 with a $68 transaction fee. As of Nov. 23rd the check from Judith Anderson had bounced and the deposit I had made for $1,550 was taken back out of my checking account leaving me at a loss of $968 plus the $200 for Walmart!
I feel so stupid for falling for this scam. I can't believe I didnt catch this before I participated in it! Do you have any sugguestions on what I should do to try and get my money back? My email is [email protected]
