I responded to an offer to pay $5.99 for a "luxury woman's watch" in November 2015. I received a plain - NOT luxury - watch and my account was charged $5.99, OK so far. When I reviewed my December credit card bill, there was a $98.00 charge from them. I then looked at the November bill and there was a $98.00 charge there, too.
I called to find out what was going on and was told that I had signed up for a monthly service and would be receiving an item every month. After wrangling on the phone with the rep they agreed to refund 1/2 of the December charge, cancel the contract and send a free gift (probably another mediocre watch!) and a voucher of unknown value. I asked to speak to a supervisor but that person was "not available." I will not be scammed into paying for any items that I did not order. If this was a "club" type of situation I would not have done it, but that was in no way made clear when I accepted the original offer. This is a scam for sure.
