As another victim wrote, I also accepted an offer of a "thank you" gift and paid a $5.99 processing fee. A few days later I received a watch (nothing great). Then today I received a 2nd watch in a plain envelope without any invoice or paperwork. Searched the internet and found the same complaint. Called my bank and a bank rep contacted the company. We had a conference call and Grace, the Allegro rep, kept trying to tell me that I agreed to the membership because I "didn't return the 1st watch within 14 days". I NEVER agree to those terms and, after a lot of screaming, Grace agreed to refund the full $98. You bet I'll be checking my bank account every day. If you got caught up in this, call your bank and have them call 844-551-6099. With some pressure, particularly from the bank rep, Allegro will do the right thing.
