I wish to advise of a company selling counterfeit Asics running shoes. They purport to be an Australian company (www.wfallsbc.org.au) when in fact they are a Turkish company based out of Shanghai, China selling fakes. Apart from selling Asics, they also sell Adidas, Brooks and Onitsuka Tiger shoes. I have also contacted each of these companies advising them of the selling of fakes online.

Unfortunately I have been caught out and ripped off for $174.52 when on 6th November 2016, I purchased online using my Visa Card, 1 pair x WOMEN'S ASICS GEL-KAYANO 22 INDIGO BLUE/PINK GLOW/PISTACHIO RUNNING SHOE in US Ladies Size9 as per the attached picture for my wife for Christmas.

What I received however was these shoes ... allegedly Asics LY-TE V’s.

The original price quoted to me for the Kayano 22’s was $133.47 for the shoes; $27.06 for postage coming to a total of $160.52 (yes, even their numbers didn’t add up correctly). However these lowlifes then illegally withdrew $174.52 from my Visa Account. Despite me asking why they took an extra $14.00 without my express approval, they have remained silent. Subsequently I have reported this to my financial institution, and have had to cancel my Visa Card due to this fraud.

Since receiving the “knock-off” running shoes which are an inferior quality to our other Asics running shoes; are the wrong model and even the wrong size, I have sent numerous emails to them requesting a full refund or to even send me what I had actually paid for. Not unsurprisingly as they already have my money, they continue to ignore my emails.

I have made a formal complaint on 21st November 2016 to Scamwatch which is managed by ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) and await a reply if they are able to do anything.

Specific details I have about the organisation that is selling these shoes online is taken from the mailing envelope and from emails received from them. I have attached a pictureto this email of their mailing envelope to me ... see (20161123_065809). Essentially, that information is:

  • Thanks for the advice. I was close to ordering some Ecco shoes through a website called harlequinhogroast.co.uk (hardly sounds like shoes!) and got an email from [email protected]. I googled the email address and found your post. So, I shall not be buying from them.
