I contacted Ben Young at Ben Young Consultancy http://www.benyoung.biz/ foolishly without doing any research. I paid upfront a monthly fee for some basic SEO work.... what could go wrong? just didn't do the work. Then said he had but produced no evidence. Then produced the "evidence" which wasn't evidence and contradicted what he's said before.
Cut a long story short, took the cash and did very little. When I tried to get into the detail, ignored emails and calls. Think VERY carefully before employing Ben - save your money and spend it on someone you can trust to do the job.
