I was referred to Mark Wolfson to handle my back IRS problems. After an extensive consultation I was given a quote of 2500 which was paid up front. Finally 1 year later at a cost of 10,000, the last 4000 of which I scraped together scraped together from every possible avenue, I was told to come down to pick up all my completed documents. When I arrived there the staff member that I was pawned off on was ashamed to tell me that Mark Wolfson tacked on 1200 more and would not release my documents until it was paid. The employee has since left the firm and is in agreement with me that it was a crooked thing to do to a client. The quote and final cost weren't even close, avoid Wolfson Associates CPA firm.
