Went to flex seal site to check out product seen advertised on DIY channel. Liked what they said product could do. Decided to order 2 cans for $19.99. The site asked for ship to info, and credit card number. I entered requested info, but did not hit "submit order." Instead the site asked me if I would be interested in doubling the order, just by paying additional shipping and handling. It read: For more info click on "Continue." I did, and saw what they were charging for "additional shipping and handling." The charges would be as follows: FLEX001 - Flex Seal™large can and Flex Seal™ large can - price ea 19.99 - QTY 2 - Extended 39.88 - Processing and Handling 39.80 - Total 79.80. I had NO INTENTION of paying almost $40 for "Processing and Handling," especially for only 2 cans of sealant, so I clicked on the "No Thanks" button on the page showing the charges, decided this was a rip off and backed out of the order by trying to go back and delete my info. Too late, because as soon as you click on "continue" for the special offer and shipping info, you are committed to the order. The site never warns you that by hitting "continue" you are placing an order, not just investigating potential special offers and shipping charges. I never knew they charged me - until I was checking my card balance online - there it was! To everyone who has been scammed by theses jerks - call your credit card company IMMEDIATELY! I did, and successfully disputed the charges. The card company must credit the entire charge to your account during the dispute. My card co. told me they have been 100% successful in disputing flex seal, many times over. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE - STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
