I was called from a man who said that he was from PCH and told me that I won a 4.5 million dollar prize and a car. This started in July. I told the man no thank you because he said I had to pay a fee. But assured me that the prize is mine so I hung up. OK about 2-3 weeks in he called back and said the same thing but this time he said I don't have to pay to receive it. I will receive it by the end of the week. So the week was up he calls me to tell me that since they was holding the gift for a month that I have to pay taxes in order to receive the gift. He said to send him $260 and then I can receive the prize. So I told him that I'm not a person with money like that. My husband only get paid 50$ a day for pumping gas and I have a daughter to feed and we would have to borrow that money I can't do it. Again he assured me that I will get my prize in time to pay the person back he even spoke to my husband about it. So my husband got the money borrowed from his boss. A couple of days past after sending him to sets of money. He calls me back to say that the computer was having problems and then he was calling everyday telling when he was going to work , when he was leaving work everything. But I still haven't receive a the prize. He did this for a whole month by this time husband lost his job. Because he told that we would get this prize to pay this man back. Everything for us went down hills we lost the opportunity to get an apartment because of this mans word. So when he called me I asked him so when am I gonna get this prize me and my husband have nothing now. He tells me that the company say I have to pay another $160 to complete the prize so I said no I don't have my husband lost his job because of you. So I called finally decide to call PCH to verify and they told me that I was being scamed to stop talking to this man and don't send him no more money. OK so I did we coming to the end of the month this man called me back from a different number insisting that I claim this prize. He then told he has this sponsor to send me 100 to help me with the prize so I said why do all this if I payer for the taxes you said I needed for the prize money and the car. So he said because they need to give me my prize in order for them to move on to the next person. So I went out walked 15 blocks to a money gram and picked up the money. But he told me to send it back through western union and then I'm done the prize will be there in the morning, morning came no prize. So after two days he calls me back. And said that the dealership that is holding the car form the prize is being tax for them holding for two months so need to send another $160 and the I'm finished. So again I said I don' t have any more money my husband still looking for a real job. The job he ending up with I'd sweeping the front of ppls houses for 10$ . so he said no problem once I receive my gift I'll be living a better life. During this whole thing I ended up so sick from the stress of working back and forth to receive something that was supposed to have been a blessing into nightmare . So then when he finally called back after a week of waiting he again told me to pick up some money from the sponsor that if i keep the money no problems all they would do is freeze the prize and put it on hold so now I'm desperate to be done with crying every night waiting for this prize still trying to find a way to get money to send my daughter to school. So I went to receive what I thought was 50$ ended up to be more then that. At this point he said all I need was 50$ and finish. So out of the money he sent me I sent back the 50$. To complete this prize. He calls me I toldbhim that sent the 50$ back so now am i finished he said no you where suppose to send back all the money that was sent and only keep the 50$ that I can us that to buy a uniform for my daughter. So now I'm like wow this man is making money off of me while I'm left with nothing. So I told him that I have done everything you have told me to do to receive something that I never signed up for and you assured me I was guaranteed that I was getting this prize so I gonna keep this money to pay back my husband boss and I'm gonna get my life back and if this prize is real you will get your money back from the prize I receive. He then cursed me out Told me I was gonna die that he is gonna call some of his Nigerian friends to put a curse on me and my family that's when I really new that I was being robbed for three months of lost a struggle I lived off this mans word. All I wanted was to spend time with my husband and daughter this summer and all we got was robbed. He sent me so many hate voicemail I had to change my number.
