Was told I violated IRS Code 63318 and that it was due to failure to pay back back taxes between years 2009-2014. Was also harassed over the phone for committing tax fraud..and if I didn't pay $2586 by 7pm that night (within the hour), I would be served a grant by the Sheriff. After 5 calls in a row, trying to get away from this guy (after he sent me to a Family Dollar to buy $500 worth of iTunes gift cards, then proceeded to harass me even more when there were none)...I was able to call 911. Still waiting for the call back.
Warning to everyone and anyone who gets these calls, do not believe that you will be arrested on the spot if you don't pay your back taxes. I filed my taxes sometimes twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I did not mysteriously "mess up" and put the wrong numbers. I had certified accountants do this.
I was not given a choice to pay back these taxes. I was threatened to be arrested in order to get what they want.
I don't know how I got the calls to stop. But I didn't give any information.
