  • woke up this am and found an unauthorized charge on my checking account, that I did not authorize showing up as "cg billing or cgbilling.com. I have no idea who put this charge thru to my account, and it caused my rent check to bounce. CG billing or CGbilling.com is a company that allows other businesses to put their sales charges thru their system... THUS - You will see cg billing reps writing in and responding to numerous scam and complaints websites to try and say they will take care of it. The problem is, cgbilling KNOWS that this is happening, and they are not requiring their merchants/business partners to follow any particular rules THAT WILL PREVENT THIS from happening all the time with us consumers. It's convenient for CG billing and their merchants to process these charges, and they hope that most people would not see them show up on their bank statements. This way only a small portion of charges are ever reversed. ON the consumer side, I called my bank about this and they agreed that this was a scam and their fraud department would take care of it and refund my money back into my account. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS: The bank said it would take up to 10 days for the credit to come back to me (mind you this is MY bank where the charge went through) and I am out the money while my other important expenses aren't paid and my rent check is returned. CG billing and their merchants have a wonderful thing going on here, where they immediately get our money without our knowledge until after the fact, and we have to fight the issue and get our money back much later, if we catch these errors. It's ridiculous that cg billing is having to assign someone to reply to these complaint messages and claim they are not at fault as it's the individual merchant that caused all of this. Again, cg billing is RESPONSIBLE for HOW their merchants can and cannot process their charges through them. They need to be held responsible and I hope that ALL of the 50 states in the US will complain and start some lawsuits.   • CG Billing is fraud! I had a $60 charge to my account as well without permission.
    I have emailed them - No response.
    I have called them - just to be on hold for 1 1/2 hours - once I got to the "next customer in line to speak with a representative" it bumped me back to #7 in line EVERY TIME!

    My bank has told me to go to a branch and fill out a form in order to receive my money back and to block these scumbags from stealing anymore of my money!
    I don't even know who these people are and have never heard of them. They hacked me on Christmas Day, a Sunday so everywhere was closed. A fraud place closed own my entire bank account. I couldn't use my debit card or anything! Banks were closed on Monday as well due to a holiday. This has been the biggest pain!
