I was cold called two weeks ago by someone called John from Zoom Web Media. I could hardly understand a word as it was very muffled but he managed to keep me on the line for over 30 minutes. I told him I wouldn't be spending any money but he kept on insisting I wouldn't need to spend any money now (except for the $99 they were asking for and the rest to be paid later). I asked him to send me an email with information about the company as I couldn't understand him and I was busy. That was a huge mistake. They kept calling me, up to 10 times or more a day. I stopped answering my phone and when they phoned me on the weekend I asked them to stop harassing me. They still phoned. I answered the phone today and once again told them no and to stop phoning me as I was getting really angry and hung up on John. I then received another call from another employee to say that John had been fired because of me and she would be fired too and then began to cry. Such selling tactics is not only unprofessional but is harassment and I'm only glad that I never handed them any money.
