I received a call today concerning a tax debt that I owe in 2013 that i am making payments on currently. They told me that a Sheriff was on their in 45 mins to haul me off to jail!!!!
Their name was Robert Matthews who's ID 11545 and was very nasty. I stopped him in mid stream then told him that I will not be a victim of fraud, you are not telling me where the mistakes were made on my taxes and then I said I am calling the IRS right now then they hung up. I called my tax accountant and asked him about before I found this site. He stated that the IRS will not call you directly but will send a letter then garnish pay or put a lien on a home before they call demanding money or freedom.
