Letter received from OLG INC claiming I was a winner of $300,000 with a cashier's check for $7,500 to cover tax, insurance, shipping, and handling of your winnings. The instructions of the letter was to contact the claim agent, David Johnson, at 1-778-982-2617 to begin processing your winnings. The letter is signed by Marshall F. Moor.
Rather than contacting the agent, I contacted the credit Estacado Federal Credit Union where the cashiers check was drawn out of and confirmed the cashiers check was not valid. The agent I spoke to further confirmed they had received numerous calls from banks in California attempting to cash the cashier check.
This is a scam!
