Well since early on the first week of May 2016, I have been receiving several phone calls from that number listed above. The Person on the phone was a male, (He did not sound like a native American, but rather had very strong accent, as if he was originated from Pakistan, India, or even Afghanistan) and he told me that I have been randomly selected to received a $ 7,000.00 grant from the federal reserve bank in Washington DC. He informed me that the reason for my grant is because I had no problem with the law, I filed no bankruptcy, and that I was low income. He further told me that the grant is being given to me through the ARRA - which stands for American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009, passed into law by president Barack Obama. He told me that the money I was about to receive was not a loan and basically there was no catch or stings attached to it. He further convinced me to Purchase an I-tune prepaid card at any CVS pharmacy for $250.00 and then had me scratched the back to the card in order to give him the code. Once I finished doing all that, he asked me for my bank account number and its routing number because he had told me that I could have the now $7,250.00 directly deposited into my bank account. Afterwards, he provided me with a second telephone number to call in order to finalized the bank transaction... that phone number is 631-776-5026. Now, after I call that number, a second male figure got to the phone and told me that my own state and city had placed a hold on the grant money because it was larger than $ 5,000.00. and that I needed to pay tax on it before it could be released to me... and the amount of taxes due was $ 800.00. When I told him to have the city and State taxes be taken form the sum of $7,250.00, he told that this could not be done because the grant was not taxable and it was in the form a federal check. So he too proceed to tell me that I needed to back to any CVS pharmacy to purchase yet two additional I-tunes prepaid cards... one for $300.00 and a third one for $500.00. He told me until I can pay all the taxed due, the grant could not be given to me yet. By the way, he assured that all the money I paid would be refunded back to be for sure. I told him, I did not have $800.00 to paid him at that time, and he told me to burrow the money from families and friends of mine because it would all be returned to me in the form of a check. However, by this time, I began to be very skeptical about them and did a thorough research on them on Google.com and that is how my suspicion on them was confirmed that it was all a big scam to still money from individuals in the public through their well organized scams... I am very regretful for my $250.00. Please be very careful out there folks... for there are a lot of crooks and bad people out there, yet well-organized thieves doing there very best to deceive you in every way they can imagine... Do yourself a favor and do your research on them before you even think to transfer a dime of yours to them.
