I was contacted on my cell phone around 6pm by Warm Springs Inc. and they wanted a $299 deposit for a vacation(s) that seemed too good to be true. For $999 I could travel on a 6 day vacation for 2 adults and 2 children to the Bahamas, Cancun, Mexico or Orlando, Florida and there were a couple of other places I don't remember that they mentioned. The $999 would be for 2 vacations and the first trip would have to be used within 18 months and the 2nd vacation would have to be used in the next 12 months after the 1st vacation. Airfare would be extra. They said they were affiliated with Marriott Hotels. They wanted me to put the deposit on a credit card over the phone. But I told Mason St. Claire that I don't ever give credit card information over the phone unless I know who I am dealing with and if they could send me some info in writing about their company, Warm Sands Inc. He asked if I had access to a computer and at the time I told him no because I was at my son's house putting together a rocking chair for their premature newborn baby that was coming home soon. I told Mason St. Claire that I will research the company on my computer when I get home around 8pm or 9pm. I actually didn't get home til around 10pm. Obviously this company has had some complaints and obviously this was a scam. Fortunately, I'm not stupid and did my research homework. I would have loved a trip to the Bahamas but I think I can find a better deal with a reputable travel agency.
