On April 13, I was contacted by phone by a company representing themselves as part of Marriott. After talking with the representative, I was sold 6 day/5 night land package and a 8 day/7 night cruise for $1,199. They also added another similar vacation to my purchase. While trying to charge my card, my credit card company declined the transaction as fraudulent. When the card company called me the amount they were trying to charge was different and the company name was NOT Warm Sands; it was Distant Palms.
Well, after talking with them, I received several emails asking for 'Proof of Credit Card Ownership'.
I've tried to call the customer service number to speak with someone there. No answer and no call back.
I've contacted my card company asking for them to chargeback the charge, which all consumers can do.
