We attended the seminar for participation in this Vacation Club. We were assured that our discounts would apply anywhere in the world at any property. They told us they could get us better deals than we could find on the internet. This is absolutely not true. If you want to stay in one of their "properties", you can probably get a deal, but if not, they are pretty clueless about booking hotels. I found better deals on the internet myself. Also getting the money back after the travel is complete is next to impossible. It is this "refund" that makes the plan appealing. We waited 6 months and had to endure many phone calls to get our "refund". We are still waiting on a refund that we took to Maui in November 2015. Their travel agents are obviously not real travel agents. On a trip to Italy and Ireland, my representative knew next to nothing about either country and had not traveled there or studied the availabilities. We essentially wasted $3700 (down from $10,000) that they asked for membership. In addition, we are charged $200/year membership fee whether or not we use their services. We sent a friend to them as part of their offer to extend discounts to our friends. The place they provided for her in Milan was so horrible, she had to leave and go elsewhere. This company, like most travel companies is exploitative and a rip off. DO NOT BUY
