I received an email from Steve Anderson cleaning that he was a representative from Cash net USA loans . He told me in order to clear up my debt with them I would have to make a payment of either $1200 now in full or 250 today and then biweekly of 250 until paid off . He then proceeded to tell me that if I did not pay anything I would have $8000 in court cost plus my wages at my job would be garnished and I will have a warrant out for my arrest . Of course I did not want to get arrested so I set up a date to pay hundred dollars because that's all I was able to afford the time . I asked him how I went about paying it and he told me I had to get a prepaid Visa from Walmart load the A mount onto the card but do not register the card so it would not get misused . He then told me to email him the information from the card . After hearing him tell me how to pay for the loan I got suspicious and I looked up his email address on Google . I then came across to other people that he has scammed and I found out that he is not with cash net USA . I thought I play along with the game he was playing and I told him that I would be using my debit card he told me that they cannot except debit or credit cards and it had to be I thought I play along with the game he was playing and I told him that I would be using my debit card he told me that they cannot except debit or credit cards and it had to be a prepaid Visa card . And at this point I knew that was a lie because I have paid off other loans with my debit card . After going back-and-forth quite a few times through email I then asked him for a number that my attorney can reach him and he sent me a number with an area code of 641 . I immediately called the number and it was an invalid number. Thankfully before I sent any money or any information to him my instincts kicked in and I caught him. When I emailed him back to tell him that it was an invalid number he never responded . Moral of the story never trust anyone that you don't know personally to tell you any legal information over an email . Apparently this isn't the first time he is Dennis and he needs to be caught and arrested .
