Hi. i was scheduled for surgery on 5/26 2015 and a day before surgery I found out that I was pregnant. My coordinator tentatively scheduled a date for 1/27/16 and I explained to her that I would call back when i'm ready. My friend ended up having surgery with Dr. Osak omulepu because she had no issues and was cleared for surgery. She was injured during the procedure. With the long process with my pregnancy and my friends injury I called back in february to speak to my coordinator jessica about getting reimbursed for my deposit. Earlier that day while reading the paper I scrolled upon a paper with information about the dr's license being suspended because in the month of may 2015 4 other patients got injured. ( I thank god that I got pregnant because that could have been me). Well, my coordinator was ok with refunding me and even tried to refund it back to my card. We were unable to refund it back because my card information was updated and she would give me a call by end of day. I called back and left a message the next day with my contact information because i did not receive a call back. I gave it 48 hours before calling back and when I called back the coordinator transferred me to someone to proceed with the refund. The gentleman came back on the phone and starts yelling at me stating that he is the manager and he will not issue me a refund and why didnt I have the procedure. I explained to him that I am concerned and just not comfortable because of the breaking news with my friend and the information received from the papers about the doctor. I found out that the doctor is not certified for plastic surgery and that the doctor is currently under suspension. I explained to him all of that information and he stated that he will not issue me a refund. I was in total shock and disbelief. I have called back 2 times since then and they keep transferring me between my coordinator and the gentleman. They would not give me a phone number for corporate and have not returned any phone call back. I am in shock because my coordinator was so nice at first and concerned then she turned really nasty towards me when she realized that the other department will not issue me a refund.
