Exact same thing. Trying to get "free" credit report through them, they email me telling me they sent off my details to a place called Veda, and THEY would mail me a credit report (I could have done that myself ffs!!).
Never got credit report, no communication since. I considered it a bust, and got a real credit report through a reputable company, who emailed it to me within a week, for free.
Then on 12/2/16, see charge for $39.95 against my name - no reference, bank cant help as it doesnt say who took it yet. Over weekend get overdrawn, plus fee.
Monday, says CHECKMYFILE.COM.AU, so I go to website, log in, asked for an activation code or some crap, which I obviously dont have, nor ever received.
Check account, CANCEL "subscription" (to WHAT?!)
Utterly ridiculous, misleading and unethical.
Site has no phone number to call!! Asked to fill in form. SCAM!!!
