This company tried getting money over the phone but since I didn't initiate the call I didn't provide more information than they already knew. The company I went through for my loan is Global Acceptance so the name was similar. The lady I spoke with phished for information and tried to set up payments over the phone. Her information was out of date and that was the first clue. The second clue was she was unprofessional. When she found I was single she asked for a date. She also repeated herself with the information. All of this information led me to believe it was a scam so when I called my dealer and confirmed the correct information I googled the number and I was lucky I didn't provide financial information over the phone because I believe I would have been out of a lot of money.
