I signed up with what i thought and was advertised as the "Ashy Bines" 12 week bikini body challenge.
upon signing up I had trouble with the product as below:
I was lead to believe that I was signing up for the 12 week bikini body challenge at aprox $19 a week. Admin signed me up for a 6 week shred challenge even after specifically explaining that I was only a few months out of major surgery with serious endocrine problems and when I pointed out that my body couldn’t handle a “Shred” challenge I was then to to just follow an “Ab challenge or a butt challenge”. This is not what I signed up for.
I was informed it would cost me $29.00 a week but then was told it was because of the challenge I was following and then I was informed that there were hidden admin charges in the “Terms and conditions”. (I was ok to overlook this at first this was before the over charging and unauthorised charged to my credit card)
My credit card was charged multiple unauthorised amounts where there were weeks where I was charged multiple times and amounts more than authorised. Refer to documents attached (both in emails where I sent the screen shots as attachments and as single screen shots for the recent charges) I made it very clear to ABBBC that I am a low income earner and the amounts couldn’t come out of my account like this as I had doctors and medication I regularly needed to pay for. This was ignored
the online component was glitching and made it extremely hard to use the "Life" that was supposed to give me online tutorials, meal plans, work out regimes and recipes. Extremely stressful
This was reported and nothing was fixed and i was given a feeble excuse when it was addressed.
there were many glitches with the online tutorials being confusing and poorly presented and sometimes I couldn’t understand what the speaker was saying it sounded as if the wwere speaking in a different language.
it was advertised that I would pay $29.00 a week for the program. I received confirmation that weekly payments would come out of my account each week. Please refer to email attachemnts
Please see attachments to view that ABBBC was taking un authorised amounts out of my account multiple times a week over a period between October 2015 and 30th January 2016.
I enquired and requested a refund of the amounts and was told in December (refer to email) the extra payments would be credited to the next few weeks, this did not happen. then I was told that the extra $1.20 on top of the 29.90 was an admin fee that was hidden in the sign up process.
I authorised for ABBBC to debit my credit card a weekly amount of $29.00 NOT $31.15.
Payments did not come out weekly. Payments were taken out multiple times a week at an amount that I didn’t authorise. I was told there would be no refund.
upon cancelling my subscription I was forced to contact my bank to stop all direct debits on my visa from this company and I was advised to cancel my credit card to which I did. I was also advised to contact visa and report ABBBC in regards to these transactions and to make a formal complaint. I was also advised that ABBBC has acted fraudulently and has misappropriated My visa authroisation.
. During the cancellation process, within 36 hours ABBBC stole $62.30 from my account AFTER I had cancelled my membership with their program.
I asked repeatedly for invoices and was supplied with inaccurate and misleading information that didn’t reflect the accurate amounts, dates and times and reasons for the charges but instead reflected the amounts that I didn’t agree to or authorise on dates that were incorrect and misleading. Please refer to attachemnts and compare them to the dates and times in my account screen shots.
Further more I continually tried to rectify this by negotiation and being highly forgiving and reasonable but I found that parts the complaints were simply ignored.
I was forced to contact my bank and cancel my credit card and put a stop on all transactions and debit requests from ABBBC to stop them from stealing any further amounts.
I contacted them and they are refusing to give me a refund.
I am now seeking a full refund to me of all moneys paid to ABBBC.
I am now seeking advice and assistance in regards to having the people responsible charged with fraud. I am now seeking and requesting legal advice on where I stand on compensation as I have now suffered a lot of anxiety and stress from this experience. ABBBC and ashy Bines know that I am recovering from a serious illness where I am still receiving treatment. As explained in the attached emails to ABBBC.
