After 3 years of being a loyal customer in this ladbrokes store, I placed a bet of over £200 in the terminals in store. It instantly printed a ticket out for a bet that I did not place. I explained this to staff members and they told me the in play terminal machines were run by a different company and I had to contact them. After 3/4 hours of trying to get a response from the in play terminal company, without any success, I contacted Ladbrokes customer service who advised me to go back to the store and it should hopefully get resolved. Upon returning to the store the gentleman was unwilling to help and had made his mind up that I was lying. After going back and forth with customer services I decided to wait in store (after being told by David at customer services that this was fine to do so) in hope eventually something will get sorted. The gentleman behind the counter was almost mocking me, taking personal phonecalls and speaking to his friends. I waited in silence until by my complete shock the police threw me out of the store. I had been accused of casing a scene and kicking up a fuss which I clearly did not do. I was absolutely distraught and embarrassed and after contacting customer services they assured me this shouldn't have happened and It would all be resolved on the morning. I still have received no communication from ladrokes and upon calling them this morning I was advised to wait. This should be a matter of urgency. 3 years I have visited that store and spent thousands of pounds and never once have I placed a complaint until yesterday ....this is how I get treated??? I was advised by customer services to take the 30 minute drive back to the store to resolve the problem to which I get the police called upon to throw me out when I did nothing wrong. I have been treated like a fool, mocked laughed at and even asked by customer services not to take it further as they would resolve it in the morning for me. I respected that and waited. Again taken for a mug. This is completely unacceptable and I have now explained this to a newspaper outlet who will be sending an reporting staff and investigator to assist me. I did nothing wrong but simply be determined in getting me problem resolved. I have been as patient as can be. I received a call from Ladbrokes simply saying they were not willing to look at any CCTV as that's only for serious cases, they then said we don't see ourselves and fault and the police would not have been called for no reason. That's it! Disgusting.
